Chapter 5 reminded me of when I was working a summer job for Eli Lilly. I worked with a department that was trying to re-do their specified bit of lilly webspace. While I removed a lot of unescesarry wording from their site, I look at it now and realize there's still so much more that could be removed or combined. Part of the problem was that they wanted me to re-write text in the "corporate voice" which really hindered my ability to be concise. I think this is why a lot of corps can have very wordy sites. They try to hard to talk "up" to their readers with a professional voice. I know that is important to them, but a concise voice can be equally as professional.
