Tabs are awesome. I'm a huge fan. They make navigating the web extremely easy, and look classy too. In the jumble of information we get every day online, they make life simple.

In late June, Yahoo changed their layout from a simple "traditional" site to a tabbed, crazy, information packed portal. Yahoo is using tabs in a much different way than sites like Amazon or Apple. They actually have small tab "folders" implanted in tables on their site. They're dynamically updated with news feeds, stocks, mail, and just about anything. The only problem with the new yahoo is it runs and loads very slowly, so I try to avoid it at all costs. But if it ran fast, it would be amazing.
