I find it to be very true when searching content on-line myself. I don't want to think. When someone is surfing on a webpage, it's not because they want a brain teaser, and have to think really hard as to what text on the page is a button. Or picture for that matter. A button needs to be clear to the user that, that text or picture will actually take you somewhere.....which leads into my next "Idea" blog.
