The major discussion peice in Chapter 2 is about how no one utilizes a website the way the designer may have originally intended them to. This is a difficult concept for me to grasp on some levels. It's rough to think that although you put hours of thought into ever single tiny detail of your site, someone may never utilize all of the options they have available to them.
My questions stem from exactly this dilemma. How does one create a website that is extremely user-friendly, but still packed full of useful information, and further still visually appealing? Is a test subject the best way to ensure that your website is user friendly? How can you make sure that someone who is extremely interested in your website's topic is able to benefit from all of the data you have worked so hard to implement in your website?
